About the Position

As one of our teachers at Rudbecksgymnasiet is retiring in early April 2026, we are now looking for a primary school teacher with special educational competence and certification in mathematics and science subjects for the introduction programs - IM.

Rudbecksgymnasiet is Tidaholm's only high school, with nearly 300 students studying in various programs. Rudbecksgymnasiet is a school that cares. Teachers and students work closely together, and proximity is a strength; here, students have room to grow. Rudbecksgymnasiet is located in central Tidaholm by the edge of the Tidan river.

The position involves teaching in classes, smaller groups, and in some cases, individual instruction. Teaching will primarily take place at the primary school level, where mentorship is also included in the assignment together with colleagues.

At IM, we strive for smaller contexts, to see the students, and create opportunities for them to succeed. Together, we want to create a study environment characterized by formative methods and high goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant teaching degree for the position, preferably with additional courses in special education. We also see that you have experience working with teaching students in need of special support, such as teaching in special education groups.

To thrive in the role, you need to have a good ability to create trusting relationships with both high school-aged youth and your colleagues at the workplace.

You should enjoy working together with others and be confident in leading classroom work in a respectful manner towards students.
